Location of our job fairs
Pierce County VETS is a Non-Profit Corporation established on 5 November 2007. Although our corporation is new, the staff and directors have over 30 years experience serving veterans throughout Pierce County. Our job fairs have continued regularly since 1990 and served tens of thousands of veterans and their families employment needs during this time. We are proud to serve our veterans and equally proud of the fact we have the largest and longest running veteran job fairs in the state.
It is our charter to:
To provide employment services to veterans and their families through quarterly job fair events, referrals to veteran services throughout Pierce County and Washington State, and to provide transition assistance to incarcerated veterans at McNeil Island Correction Center.
We operate completely on funds raised by the job fairs and donate 40 - 65 percent of the proceeds back to the veteran services organizations providing services to veterans. Our donations are provided to the following veteran service organizations. Contact them for a list of services provided.
